A Fairytale Morning at Paradise Cove: Jasmine & Antonio’s Magical Wedding

There’s a photo of Jasmine on her wedding day that still takes my breath away. It’s not the stunning tiara or the intricate details of her dress peeking out from behind her veil that first catches my eye–it’s her smile.

Seated in Cinderella’s horse drawn carriage–a surprise from her brother–Jasmine radiates pure joy. I love the way the sun shines on her here, and having spent the day with Jasmine, Antonio and their family and friends, I can tell you that being around them is much like being in the sunshine yourself.

They say golden hour reigns supreme, but I’d argue the way the light draped over their brunch-time nuptials was just as enchanting. Their wedding at Paradise Cove, Orlando, was nothing short of magical. From the stunning backdrop of the venue itself and the colorful accents chosen by the couple to the hula and fire dancers as entertainment, you were instantly transported. If not for special appearances by Cinderella and Ariel, you might even forget this wasn’t on Disney property.

But the magic of the day wasn’t just in the fairy-tale touches. It was in the love, the laughter and the unforgettable personalities that radiated from every individual there to celebrate Jasmine and Antonio’s love. I wanted to bottle it up, but as it would happen, the Genie wasn’t free. So, I did the next best thing.

Telling Love Stories Through Candid Wedding Photography

One of the greatest gifts I can give my couples is the ability to relive their day through the details they may have missed–the “found” moments. The mischievous smirk of their “ring security” as he makes his way down the aisle. The tear of a loved one gently wiped away as the bride steps forward. The electric, unspoken joy in a couple’s glance after their first kiss.

It’s the first bite of cake—not by the couple, but by their little girl, eager to taste the sweetness of the celebration. It’s the big grins of groomsmen as they share in their friend’s happiness. It’s the way a couple melts into each other during their first dance, lost in a world of their own.

These aren’t just timeless wedding photographs; they’re emotions frozen in time. And long after the last dance is over, when the flowers have dried and the dress–or in Jasmine’s case, dresses–are tucked away, it’s these moments that bring you right back to the joy of that day.

Jasmine and Antonio’s wedding reminded me why I love what I do—because love, in all its fleeting moments, deserves to be captured candidly, to be captured beautifully.

If you’re dreaming of a wedding in Florida, I’d love to help tell your story through beautiful, candid imagery. Let’s capture the magic of your day together.
